Walk for the Warrior's (Fundraiser)
Location: Bangor WA to Boise ID
Warrior's Promise Foundation is planning a “Walk for the Warrior’s” starting Sept 1st in Bangor WA and walking to Boise. We are walking 658 miles and it will take us 32 days. Upon completion of our walk we will be ending at High Desert Harley Davidson in Meridian, ID on Oct. 2nd for our Grand Finale that starts at 2:00pm. Our finale will feature live music, food, beer garden, assorted vendors, auction and raffle of 2009 HD Super Glide. Come join the fun and support the men and women of the military.

Nampa Parks and Recreation Adult Flag Football (Community Event)
The Nampa Recreation Department is offering Adult Flag Football. Each team will play six regular season games. All games will be played on Saturdays! The top three teams in each division will advance to the playoffs with the first seed receiving a first-round bye.Games start September 11.League fees: $230 by August 17, $245 by August 24Player fees: Nampa residents $10, Non-residents $15Mandatory team captains meeting in the Senior Center, August 24 at 6pm.

The Idaho Business League, Inc. is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Run for Your Life 5k Run/Walk, 11am Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Expo Idaho & the scenic Greenbelt! A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Camp Rainbow Gold which provides support to Idaho's children diagnosed with cancer. Your support is needed.
